Introduction to Depreciation
(5.5 CPE credits)
This exceptional overview course begins with a discussion of the importance of depreciation and the complications inherent in estimating depreciation expense. Included are segments on accounting for group depreciation, life and salvage analysis, and annual and accumulated depreciation calculations. These are most of the areas included on the CDP Exam. The course is intended for professionals involved in preparing depreciation studies as well as managers wanting an overview of the segments of a depreciation study.
CPE Credits
Attendees at the 2015 SDP Annual Meeting and/or Training can receive CPE credits. The Society of Depreciation Professionals is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
